We expected Chromatics to release their album Dear Tommy early in 2015, and while it still hasn't arrived, they've now shared a cover of Cyndi Lauper's classic "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" as part of a MANGO commercial.
The song — which was first released by Robert Hazard in 1979, but was made famous by Lauper in 1983 — is much less joyous in this form. Instead of a banging pop anthem, Chromatics turn it into a icy dance groove that's in keeping with their signature Italo-disco sound. This serves as the soundtrack to flashy, black and white footage of Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne showing off their clothes.
