Hot Water Music leader Chuck Ragan put the focus back on his Americana-influenced solo career this past spring with the release of his Till Midnight LP. A few months down the line, the gravel-voiced troubadour is stirring things up with a new live-in-the-studio performance of the record's dusty "Vagabond."
Filmed at the SideOneDummy Records offices, the new promo clip finds Ragan and a rag-tag assembly of guitarists, fiddlers, accordion players and more tackling the heart-tugging roots-rock tune. Ragan cries about feeling out of his head and being ready to carve the ticker right out of his chest, but manages to get through the track without doing too much damage to himself.
You'll find the folksy punk vet's passionate performance about waking up on the wrong side of "you and me" down below.
