Cinema Eye

A Complete Arsenal

BY Rob NayPublished Nov 1, 2003

The Cinema Eye’s latest EP merges new wave synth pop rumblings with intricate math rock arrangements. Throughout the disc, Mollie Wells supplies edged vocal melodies overtop of taut instrumentation. Occasionally the group’s involved songs mirror some of the current paths taken by Pretty Girls Make Graves. A Complete Arsenal is a solid, brief collection of songs, serving as a good quality teaser for the Cinema Eye’s upcoming full-length disc.
