It's been a few years since we've received a solo release from Clams Casino (a.k.a. Michael Volpe), but the New Jersey producer is making his return this summer with the release of his first-ever major label studio album. The record, titled 32 Levels, is set to drop July 15 through Columbia.
The album marks Volpe's first release since his Instrumental Tape 3 from the end of 2013. While the artist is leaving the freelease market for his latest release, it isn't the first time he's worked with a label. In 2011, he issued the Rainforest EP through indie imprint Tri Angle.
A tracklisting has yet to be revealed behind the release, but Clams Casino is teasing the release with a video for its "Blast." The visuals were put together by Strangeloop and find a figure tumbling through ethereal planes, as scored by the drippy, hypnagogic beatwork of Clams Casino.
