Clarence Clemons's Nephew Joins Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band

Since the passing of Clarence Clemons last year, Bruce Springsteen fans have been wondering who would take his place on saxophone in the E Street Band. Well, here's you answer: Clemons's nephew Jake will be filling in for his uncle on Springsteen's upcoming world tour.

Rolling Stone points out that this isn't the first time that Jake Clemons has played with the E Street Band, as he's chipped in numerous times before. His website notes that he's also played alongside the likes of Eddie Vedder, the Swell Season and Will Smith.

Springsteen's current tour schedule has him playing shows in the U.S. from March until May before heading to Europe until the end of July. Sadly, the E Street Band currently have no Canadian gigs scheduled, so we might have to wait a while for an in-person chance to see Jake Clemons filling in for his uncle.

Watch a five-minute mini-doc on Jake Clemons below (although note that it's about his Christianity as much as it is about music).
