Classic Crime

Seattle’s the Classic Crime are grown up pop punk that is maturing nicely into the emo/rock genre. The band play it safe with Fall Out Boy-esque vocals and your basic Taking Back Sunday song structures. Lyrically, they are too amateurish for my liking, thanks to a lot of juvenile references to love and heartbreak. The record definitely drags on after the first 20 minutes, but any fans of Story of the Year or Panic! At the Disco will probably enjoy this record.
