As we previously reported, Virginia's Clipse signed an
exclusive mixtape deal with Koch not too long ago and the result of that lucrative agreement is about to come to fruition with the release of The Clipse Present The Re-Up Gang, now scheduled for August 5.
Perhaps more interesting though is news of the third official studio album by Malice and Pusha T. According to Billboard.biz, the duo have decided on November to release Till the Casket Drops, the follow-up to 2006's highly praised Hell Hath No Fury. The album will be their first through the new five-year deal with Sony BMG/Columbia, which sees a 50/50 split between Clipse and the label, as well as the duo retaining ownership of their masters and recording for other labels, such as in the case of the "Re-Up Gang" series.
Till the Casket Drops will reportedly feature collaborations with Rick Rubin, Pharrell Williams, Justice League, Sean C and LV, and DJ Khalil Dame Grease.
