Fields of Fur

"We're three shows old!" said Brian Borcherdt, the front-man of his newest endeavour, Fields of Fur. Joined by guitarist Anna Edwards (from Foxfire and Borcherdt's girlfriend) and drummer Mike Leblanc, they were shy and small but the sound that beckoned forth was haunting and bold. Gearing more towards prog rock and Borcherdt's solo work, Fields of Fur pressed on through a healthy amount of songs. As Leblanc switched between electronic and acoustic drumming, Borcherdt pushed his guitar and Edwards picked, while the soft intertwining of their voices became a chilling sound to be heard. Hopefully this trio keeps up the good work and we'll see more of them in the future, but with a bit more confidence.
