The frizzy-haired folk from emo-prog mainstays Coheed and Cambria are streaming out an interstellar love song to tease their forthcoming full-length, The Color Before the Sun. The out-of-this-world pledge of devotion goes by the title, "Here to Mars."
A lyric video for the single plays the theme on-the-nose, and comes equipped with plenty of celestial backdrops and space-exploring visuals. As we're hurtled through the cosmos, we're treated to the rhythmic chugging of guitars, floating bass work and the sentimental lines of vocalist Claudio Sanchez.
Here, he does his best to convince a love interest that he could a pretty swell "better half," while noting that he's already seeing stars over them. "A world without you hurts," he quivers later in the song.
You can stream the track below, while the rest of The Color Before the Sun floats our way October 9 through 300 Entertainment.
