Chris Martin and the gang recently announced plans for a new (and possibly final) album called A Head Full of Dreams, which was followed by news of a fancy new virtual reality concert film.
Well, the lads in Coldplay aren't done for the year yet, having just unveiled "Miracles" — a new tune that appears on the Unbroken soundtrack. The film is set during World War II and tells the story of Olympic athlete Louis "Louie" Zamperini, played by Jack O'Connell. The film was directed by Angelina Jolie and hits the big screen on December 25.
The musical contribution from Coldplay is pretty much what you'd expect. Acoustic guitars, a clap-along beat and Martin's soothing falsetto make it a perfectly inoffensive pop song to soundtrack a Christmas Day flick.
