Comeback Kid

Through The Noise

BY Dave SynyardPublished Jan 26, 2009

Comeback Kid may have gotten their name from Mario Lemieux but at no point has this band ever stopped going forward. To mark the hardcore outfit's success is a recording of their performance in Leipzig, Germany, as well as a DVD, plus a documentary. CBK's performance is on par with most other live recordings, in terms of quality, and is a capsule of vigorous hardcore, unity and sweat. Through The Noise is a great mixtape from Turn It Around, Wake The Dead and Broadcasting… that captures CBK in there ferocious element. The DVD is even more entertaining, as CBK tear the venue apart, while their documentary is a great homage to a band that, like any good group, have worked their asses off to get where they are. It's an enjoyable, light-hearted viewing from a group of guys who have done nothing more than what they've always held in their hearts.
