Counting Crows Frontman Adam Duritz Has Shaved Off His Dreadlocks

The Counting Crows are known for two things — peppy alterna-pop bops, and frontman Adam Duritz' cartoonishly moppy dreadlocks. Perhaps he finally got the memo about white guy dreads, because he shaved them off.

Perhaps his new skinhead look was inspired by This Is England? After all, Duritz ditched the wig-like locks on a recent trip to England. In an Instagram post, he revealed, "I flew to London and shaved my head! Anarchy In The UK indeed motherfuckers!!!" Okay, so it's more of a Sex Pistols thing.

Either way, Duritz is finally free from the sewn-in growth that had weighed down his head for all of these years. Congratulations!
