Maritime rock outfits Cousins and Construction & Destruction both have new albums on the way, but they've also found the time to team up for a collaborative record. This split 12-inch EP is due out on July 30 through Noyes Records.
The split includes three songs from each band. Both sides were recorded at Construction & Destruction own studio, the Quarantine, in Port Greville, NS.
It's being pressed in a limited run of 300 blue vinyl copies. See the tracklist below. It's available to pre-order in vinyl or digital formats right here.
As for the band's own albums, Cousins will release The Halls of Wickwire later this year. It was produced by Graham Walsh (Holy Fuck) and engineered by Josh Korody (Beliefs). See the video for the album cut "What's Your Name?" down below.
As for Construction & Destruction, they will drop Dark Lark on June 11 through Headless Owl Records. A couple of tracks from the LP are at the bottom of this page.
