The Creepshow

They All Fall Down

BY Brad SchmalePublished Nov 8, 2010

With the overwhelming success of 2008's Run for Your Life, the Creepshow are showing no signs of slowing down, as the Burlington, ON horror punks deliver third effort They All Fall Down. At full tilt, the Creepshow take the helm and guide us through a hell ride of sped-up rockabilly riffs, eerie organ and feverish vocals, complements of the fiery Sarah "Sin" Blackwood. From the first ringing chord on "Get What's Coming" to the fading note of closing track "Road to Nowhere," a frenzy of slapping bass lines and trotting drums prevail, Blackwood balefully crooning over all things macabre, with bassist McNab's throaty backups in tow. Without straying too far from their element, the Creepshow stick with what they do best. And with the release of They All Fall Down, these favoured small town psychobillies will continue to climb towards the top.
