Perpetually gloomy Toronto duo Crystal Castles have unveiled new track "Plague," presumably from their upcoming LP.
Producer Ethan Kath previously spoke about the band's future direction saying: "Every song we write feels bleak to me. I don't get it when people think it's beautiful. I think it [bleakness] is the only emotion we do. We don't want to do anything else."
So, as expected, the grinding synths of "Plague" might not make your new feel-good song of the summer, but new music from the band might cheer some fans up nonetheless.
