Cults

"Go Outside" (video)

BY Gabrielle DomanskiPublished Jul 13, 2011

Today marks the debut of Cults' official video for "Go Outside." Directed by Isaiah Seret, the vintage-looking clip takes on an eerie undercurrent as it explores the time leading up to the 1978 Jonestown Massacre.

Expertly integrating footage of Cults' Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion, the upbeat track is complemented by the relatively cheery footage of smiling people singing and dancing, but one can't help but be slightly creeped out since we know the ultimate outcome.

Cults' debut self-titled album is out now on Columbia.
