Following the insane amount of hype surrounding their early material, there are some pretty hefty expectations for New York pop duo Cults to deliver on their upcoming major label debut. "You Know What I Mean" is the first track to leak from the self-titled album, and it might just meet those expectations.

The sock-hop-ready heart-breaker opens with dreamy guitars and snapping fingers before erupting into a lushly produced Spector-esque climax. All the while, singer Madeline Follin pushes her voice to new heights. Listen to "You Know What I Mean" for yourself below.

As previously reported, Cults will be available via Lily Allen's Columbia offshoot In the Name Of on May 30 in the UK, with a North American release assumed for May 31.
