Cults Book North American Tour Ahead of Debut LP

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jan 4, 2011

Having built up a major buzz during 2010, Cults are looking to have a big year in 2011. The NYC indie pop duo recently signed to Columbia, and have a full-length album reportedly slated for a May release. They also have a lengthy tour planned that will take them around North America during March and April.

The outing includes shows with Small Black and Asobi Seksu. However, neither of those bands are on the bill during Cults' two Canadian shows, which will take place in Montreal on April 2 in Toronto on April 4. See the schedule below.

The news that Cults will be hitting the road presumably means that the group are finished working on their album, which they recorded with producer Shane Stoneback (Vampire Weekend, Sleigh Bells, Fucked Up). Expect release details to be announced soon.
