Current Swell usually specialize in a sunny brand of West Coast roots-rock, but their latest video from last year's Long Time Ago finds them venturing into far more chilly terrain. Appropriately enough, the clip is for the track "Too Cold."
Opening with an image of a snowy cityscape, the clip begins with the band performing inside of a dark and empty house during the song's sparse and downtempo intro. Eventually the track picks up and the video gets brighter, but things remain pretty frosty, and the band end up performing in an indoor snowstorm.
The clip was directed in a Toronto mansion by John JP Poliquin (Arkells, Adaline, Mother Mother).
