We already knew that "Lose Yourself to Dance" was the next single off Daft Punk's Random Access Memories, and last night (August 25) at the MTV Video Music Awards, the French dance duo unveiled a teaser snippet from an apparent music video for that track.
The minute-long clip looks very similar to the "Get Lucky" promo clips that emerged prior to Random Access Memories, as we see the Robots donning sparkly suits and acting as backup musicians for the similarly flashy singer Pharrell Williams and guitarist Nile Rodgers. They perform on a tiny stage at the pinnacle of what looks a bit like the inside of a UFO, while dancers crowd around them and clap along with the beat.
The Robots didn't perform at the VMAs as expected, but they showed up to present the Best Female Video award to Taylor Swift.
UPDATE: Well, it appears as if this is all we'll get from the video, as the official version is now available below. Sadly, it's barely over a minute long.
