"You and me were always with each other / Before we knew the other was ever there," City and Colour/Alexisonfire's Dallas Green and pop star/aerial silks artist P!nk (née Alecia Moore) once effortlessly harmonized — on "You and Me," as, you guessed it, collaborative duo You+Me.

Ah yes, 2014 was a simpler time. However, now might be the moment to revisit the tender, overcast road that is rose ave.: Green and Moore appear to have reunited to cook up some more emotionally devastating musical magic together nearly eight years later.

The prolific Canadian singer-songwriter posted a photo of the pair with their arms around each other in an immaculately decorated room-turned-studio with musician Matt Kelly and producer Simon Gooding to the City and Colour Instagram account today, captioning it simply: "coupla pals."

After Alexisonfire learned to love each other and released their first post-reunion LP Otherness, it would certainly be in the spirit of things for Green to get the other band back together too, right?
