Dambrots

The Dambots are a New York acoustic pop duo with flair for provocative cover art (Especially Not Love boasts a hot pink cover). Too bad the flair didn't carry over to the music on the disc. Especially Not Love is demo-quality at best, sounding very hollow with only acoustic guitar and weak female vocals, and the songs only feel partially developed. Producer Eric Rachel (Misfits, Graham Parker) would have done better to send this duo back to the woodshed before committing them to tape.
