Britpop band leader gone solo star Damon Albarn is dropping his album Everyday Robots on April 28 through Parlophone/Warner, and he's drumming up a little pre-release anticipation with an acoustic session for BBC Radio 2.
Accompanied by only his finger-picking, Abarn sung the slow and sad album cut "Lonely Press Play" on Dermot O'Leary's radio show. He also did a similarly sparse and fragilely bummed-out rendition of "Seasons in the Sun," made famous by Jacques Brel.
Albarn additionally did an interview, which can be heard here.
