Dan Deacon's latest album, America, culminates in a sprawling four-part suite, and the entire thing has now received its own 22-minute video.
The so-called "USA Suite" comprises the tracks "USA I: Is a Monster," "USA II: The Great American Desert," "USA III: Rail," and "USA IV: Manifest." Despite the America-centric focus of the source material, the video actually comprises footage from the U.S. and around the world. We see beautiful landscape shots, glitchy and brightly coloured images of running animals, chaotically blurred lights, corny CGI, trains, tightrope walking and more. The music is similarly ambitious and shapeshifting.
America is out through Domino.
