Dan Deacon Gets New Remix Single with Hudson Mohawke, Allez-Allez

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 9, 2010

The last we heard from Dan Deacon, the electro eccentric had to cancel part of his fall tour after being hospitalized with a back problem called sciatica. While Dan was laying low, the folks over at Amazing Sounds were picking up the slack, putting together a new limited-edition vinyl release of the Bromst song "Woof Woof."

According to a blurb on the label's MySpace, the brief collection will feature remixes by Hudson Mowake, Luke Abbot and label bosses Allez-Allez. And yes, that's the cover up there above.

You can head over to Amazing Sounds' MySpace to listen to Hudson Mohawke's take on "Woof Woof," which is every bit as psychotically catchy as the original version.

The record will be available on April 19 and will be limited to a one-off pressing of 500 copies.

Deacon, meanwhile, appears to have recovered from sciatica, as he played three shows last month.

Woof Woof:

1. "Woof Woof" (Original Mix)

2. "Woof Woof" (Hudson Mohawke Remix)

3. "Build Voice" (Allez-Allez Remix)

4. "Surprise Stefani" (Luke Abbott Remix)
