Daniel Lanois is rolling out videos for every song on his newly released album Flesh and Machine, and the latest track to get visual accompaniment is "Sioux Lookout."
The clip for this rhythmic, psychedelically flickering instrumental jam was made by Adam CK Vollick. It uses mirrored, layered images of a dancing woman, which are disorientingly layered. It might appear kaleidoscopic except that the whole thing is in black and white, which gives it a ghostly appearance.
Watch it below.
Speaking of Flesh and Machine and its accompanying videos, Toronto's TIFF Bell Lightbox will be hosting a night called "In Conversation With... Daniel Lanois" on November 5. An announcement describes the evening like this: "As part of this intimate onstage conversation, Lanois will introduce his upcoming new album Flesh and Machine, with short films accompanying select songs."
