Danny Brown has spent these past few years working on forthcoming new album XXXX, and it appears he's been at work on another project with JPEGMAFIA if a recent live appearance is any indication.

This past weekend (April 30), Brown brought JPEGMAFIA onstage during a performance at Southern California's Smoker's Club Fest to perform the currently unreleased track. You can watch the two take the stage in some fan-shot footage below.

As Stereogum points out, the untitled track was premiered by JPEGMAFIA earlier this year during an NTS Radio broadcast, and you can hear a better quality snippet below following the concert footage.

Following their performance, Brown made it sound like this collaboration wasn't a one-off, telling the crowd, "So yeah, Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA album. Y'all just heard the first song, coming soon. Motherfuckers get ready for Peggy and Danny, bitch."

Previously, JPEGMAFIA lent lyrics and production to Brown's fifth album uknowhatimsayin¿, which Exclaim! named one of the 10 Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2019. On the LP, he guested on the hook of "Negro Spiritual," and produced the Run the Jewels-assisted "3 Tearz."

Last year, JPEGMAFIA released his album LP! in "Online" and "Offline" editions, while Brown was on the mic and behind the boards as executive producer of multiple albums for his Bruiser Brigade Records.
