Limber gang of three Dany Laj and the Looks (which is comprised of Laj and drummer Lewis Handford and bassist Jeanette Dowling) have been repping their brand of hook-laden power pop since the release of their debut EP, The Match, back in 2010. But for their recent Exclaim! TV session, the throwback three-piece decided to perform something a bit newer, playing a selection of cuts from 2012's Telepathic Voices EP.
We caught up with the up-and-coming rock act at Toronto's intimate Magpie Taproom where they performed clean-cut renditions of "Mr. Rebound" and the Paul Westerberg evoking "Queen St. West," complete with a squealing solo at the song's climax.
