The Darcys

"Muzzle Blast" (video)

Toronto atmospheric rock troupe the Darcys' Warring hit stores today (September 17) through Arts & Crafts, and its arrival is being celebrated with a rather bleak new video for the set's "Muzzle Blast."

Scored by the floating guitar melodies, fuzz bass and hushed vocals of the Darcys, the video finds a young woman making her way around an eerily under-populated city and taking refuge in broken-down cathedral. While at first it seems to be a depressing scene, highlighted by an unexplained, panicked run around the building, she settles into her loneliness with an inspired dance routine that finds her twirling towards inner peace.
