Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" is everywhere these days, and now folksy English outfit Daughter have reworked the funky tune for a decidedly more moody cover.
This cover was recorded live for Huw Stephens at BBC Radio One, and it finds the Elena Tonra-led group stripping away the funky strumming and dance rhythms and transforming the song into an atmospheric space-folk séance. It's not nearly as fun as the original, naturally, but it shows that this catchy tune holds up nicely in a more minimal format.
"Get Lucky" appears on Daft Punk's Random Access Memories, which arrives May 21 through Columbia Records imprint Daft Life Limited.
