Fans have been learning a lot about their beloved Foo Fighters on HBO's ongoing Sonic Highways series about the band, and on this weekend's episode, viewers got to hear a previously unreleased Dave Grohl cut called "Hooker on the Street."
The track was produced by Barrett Jones in the final years of Grohl's time with Nirvana — a time during which the drummer reportedly wrote more than 40 songs worth of solo material.
According to Grohl, his bandmate Kurt Cobain was pretty stoked on the recordings with Jones, rewarding him with a kiss on the face after listening to them. You can listen to the aforementioned "Hooker on the Street" for yourself in the player below.
