The incomparable David Bowie's estate has announced that his notorious "lost" 2001 album Toy — the Mark Plati-produced follow-up to 1999's Hours... that ended up shelved after a dispute with then-label EMI/Virgin — will be officially released as part of a new box set.
Toy — which mixed new material and reimagined versions of lesser-known tracks — leaked online back in 2011, but it's finally landing an official issue a decade later: Bowie's official Twitter announced the forthcoming release and informed fans that there's a new radio edit of "You've Got a Habit of Leaving" now available on streaming services.
"Depending where you are on the planet, if it's 29th September you might be streaming the radio edit of You've Got A Habit Of Leaving from the forthcoming Toy album, via your favourite streaming service," the official Bowie account wrote. "More details regarding that and the rest of the Era Five box, later today."

David Bowie 5: Brilliant Adventure (1992–2001) will arrive on November 26, with an expanded version of the lost album entitled Toy:Box incoming January 7, 2022 [via The Guardian]. The box set also includes new remasters of Black Tie White Noise, The Buddha of Suburbia, 1. Outside, Earthling, Hours..., the live album BBC Radio Theatre London (June 27, 2000) and rarities compilation Re:Call 5.
