Finally, a ska-punk outfit with a mohawk topped lead singer! They've also got the attitude to match. With songs about life in the big city, it's obvious someone has pissed these guys off. Most of the time cops seem to be the object of their affection. Gladly, the singer doesn't use one of those gruff voices that are so commonplace, but they do fall victim to chanting it up a tad too much. Musically, they deliver some tidbits of hardcore, rockabilly and funk into their raw, energetic sound. Unbelievably, they pull it all off without sounding trite or fake. A welcome break from the everyday.
