There must be something in the air this week as all of the music world's corniest artists have chosen to pick fights with one another. Nickelback and Slipknot have been engaged in a fight so massive that even Smash Mouth got involved. Then there's '90s teeny bop rockers Hanson, who had some harsh words for Justin Bieber. As if that weren't enough in the swirling mess of fights in bad taste, there's now an EDM battle to contend with.
Mouse helmet adorned Canadian EDM dude deadmau5 (a.k.a. Joel Zimmerman) is never one to hold off on sharing his opinion, and he's beefed with just about everyone over the years. And while it was always safe to assume that he probably wasn't all that into the Chainsmokers, the performer has gone ahead and shared his opinion anyway.
In news that will shock absolutely no one, Zimmerman is not a fan of the 'smokers and their radio friendly nursery rhyme pop tunes. Here's what he had to say on Twitter:
