Galaxie 500 frontman Dean Wareham just served up his Emancipated Hearts mini-album in October, but he now reports that a full-meal offering is soon to follow.
Earlier today (December 2), the indie vet confirmed on Facebook that a nine-song album will arrive in North America on March 11 through Double Feature, with Sonic Cathedral handling the release in Europe. Details on the LP are fairly few and far between so far, but Wareham explained that he cut the record at Jim James's studio in Louisville, KY, with the My Morning Jacket frontman handling production duties.
Despite a lengthy career spent crafting LPs with Galaxie 500, Luna and Dean & Britta, this will be Wareham's first proper solo album. You can check out his recent EP's sad yet jangly country cut "Love Is Colder than Death," which had also been issued as a single in the summer, down below.
