Deer Tick Unveil Holiday Single

BY Alex HudsonPublished Dec 2, 2010

December is upon us and the Christmas releases are rolling in. Already we've heard yuletide numbers from the likes of Coldplay, the Futureheads, the Golden Filter and the Killers. Now, Deer TIck are following suit. The ragtag folksters just released a new digital single, Holy Shit, It's Christmas via Partisan Records.

The single came out Tuesday (November 30) and contains two songs: the title track, plus "Christmas All Summer Long." It's currently only available digitally, and you will get it for free if you purchase any Deer Tick full-length here by December 26.

You can also download "Christmas All Summer Long" over at Brooklyn Vegan. A physical release is reportedly not yet planned, but may come in the future.

The band currently have no dates or releases beyond this Christmas single, although frontman John McCauley and guitarist Ian O'Neil have a duo tour coming up in January. See the dates below.
