Vancouver electronic act Delerium have been around since the '80s, so it's unsurprising that they've accrued some unreleased material in that time. This includes "Glimmer," a 2005 track featuring Emily Haines of Metric that will finally be released this month.
This song was dug up by the band's engineer Greg Reely. Core Delerium member Bill Leeb said in a statement, "The song's words remind us even in the darkest moments when it seems all is lost, with perseverance and a little luck, we can find our own place and keep that glimmer of hope."
"Glimmer" will come out through Nettwerk on January 27 on an EP with a few edits and remixes. It will also be on a forthcoming compilation of B-sides and rarities.
