Deltron 3030 Map Out North American Fall Tour, Play Toronto

BY Alex HudsonPublished Aug 22, 2013

Hip-hop super-trio Deltron 3030 have finally announced their upcoming sophomore album Deltron 3030: Event II, and now rapper Del the Funky Homosapien, producer Dan the Automator and DJ Kid Koala have rolled out a tour in support of the long-awaited LP.

Following a couple of festival gigs at California's Rock the Bells in September, the outing will begin in earnest in October. The outfit will play a number of U.S. shows, along with a single Canadian appearance in Toronto on October 16. More dates will apparently be announced soon.

All of the shows feature a three-piece touring band, while most of the gigs also include the 16-piece 3030 Orchestra. The Toronto gig, unfortunately, doesn't include the orchestra. See the schedule below.

Event II features high-profile guests like Damon Albarn, the Lonely Island, Zack De La Rocha (of Rage Against the Machine), Mike Patton, Jamie Cullum, Aaron Bruno (of AWOLNATION), Casual and Emily Wells. Scroll past the tour schedule to stream the recent EP City Rising from the Ashes (including three songs from the album) plus the Joseph Gordon-Levitt-featuring opener "Stardate."

Deltron 3030: Event II is due out October 1 via Bulk Recordings.
