d'Eon has been building buzz for his upcoming Hippos in Tanks full-length LP for the last little bit, having recently delivered the dazzling and danceable "Al-Qiyamah," but the Montreal R&B master dials things down on sexy new slow jam "Transparency Pt. II."
A follow-up of sorts to "Transparency," off last year's Darkbloom split with Grimes, the new track weaves synth harp, gospel organ tones, busy hi-hat skittering and a percussive e-bass line with d'Eon's moody, smoky croon. Things get extra busy with rapid-fire snare shots and pitched-shifted vocals, but d'Eon chills out by song's end.

As previously reported, LP arrives June 5.
