The Belle Game
Vancouver's dark-pop quintet the Belle Game just dropped a series of remixes of songs off their debut album Ritual Tradition Habit, as well as a series of accompanying videos, and now they will be playing Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto as part of their North American tour. Attendees of the Montreal show will also get an opening performance from Toronto alt-rockers the Darcys.

Destroyer
Dan Bejar's indie-rock project Destroyer will be making the rounds through Ontario, with stops in Ottawa and Kingston. The Vancouverite has stated that this tour will be the last chance for fans to see Destroyer live until 2015, and that he may try out a few new tracks live that may be part of a future album. Fingers crossed!

Hillside Inside
The winter edition of Guelph's Hillside Festival brings all the music and excitement of the summer festival out from the cold and under the roofs of various downtown Guelph venues. The festival, made up of five shows, kicks off at the River Run centre on Friday evening, and will continue throughout the weekend, featuring performances by A Tribe Called Red, July Talk, the Darcys, Timber Timbre and many more.

Igloofest
Montreal's celebration of ice and low frequencies on the Old Port is entering its final weekend, and the frigid festival is ending with a bang. 2014 is the second year in the winter festival's history to add a fourth weekend, and they're making it worth the trip with performances by RL Grime, Nico from Nôze, Adam Beyer, Ida Engberg and many more. Just don't forget your scarf and gloves.

Lindi Ortega
Winnipeg fans of Lindi Ortega will have triple the chances to see the singer-songwriter while she's on a three-day stint at the Centennial Concert Hall. The shows are part of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra's Air Canada Pops series, in which artists perform with the orchestra, making for a unique series of performances, and ones Lindi Ortega fans will not want to miss.

Long Winter
The February instalment of Long Winter, Toronto's season-spanning concert and arts series, is almost upon us. The pay-what-you-can event will feature art installations, a lecture, video games and performances by P.S. I Love You, Sheezer, Teenanger and Ark Analog. On top of that, the first 350 people through the doors will receive a free seven-inch record that features Teenanger and HSY. This is the second last event in the series, so if you happen to miss it, there will be another on March 7th with a different roster of performers.
