Ahead of taking this year's Empath on tour through Europe next month, Devin Townsend has announced plans to bring his latest sprawling album to North America early next year.

Starting next February, Townsend will play 21 dates on the continent alongside Haken and the Contortionist. You can find the complete itinerary below.

Two Canadian dates will kick off the run. The three bands will first play Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre on February 27 before playing Montreal's Corona Theatre the following evening on February 28.

Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday (October 25) at 10 a.m. local time. Further details are available here.

Townsend revealed earlier this year that his 2020 setlists would see him revisit material by Strapping Young Lad. His last album fronting the now-defunct extreme metal outfit was 2006's The New Black.
