Die Antwoord have been nixed from the upcoming Riot Fest lineup.

The rap duo were slated to perform at the Chicago festival on September 14, but they have now been replaced by Wu-Tang Clan.

Riot Fest organizers gave no reason for Die Antwoord's cancellation, merely saying that they "will no longer be performing."

The decision comes, however, after multiple other festivals cancelled the duo's appearances in the wake of an alleged hate crime controversy. The have been removed from Louisville, Kentucky's Louder Than Life festival and Las Vegas' Life Is Beautiful Music & Art festival.

A video surfaced earlier this week from a New Zealand music festival in 2012, which appears to show Die Antwoord members Yolandi Visser and Ninja attacking Andy Butler of Hercules and Love Affair and calling him homophobic slurs.

Die Antwoord have responded to the allegations, saying that they attacked Butler after he sexually assaulted Visser in a restroom at the festival. They claim that, "This fight had nothing to with the fact that this guy was gay."
