Dine Alone Records has announced that its Toronto store at 864 Eastern Avenue will be open this Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a special Record Store Day event.
The label will open its doors to customers to offer limited test pressings (from City and Colour, moneen, the Flatliners and more), official RSD releases and Dine Alone exclusives, with two drops: the first at doors and the second at 2 p.m.
Label exclusives include METZ's Up on Gravity Hill test pressing variant with alternate artwork by the band's Hayden Menzies, limited to 30 pressings (with all profits being donated to CAMH Foundation), plus a Frank Turner/Bedouin Soundclash split 7-inch with new tracks "Girl from the Record Shop" and "Sheila Teaches History" (limited to 300 pressings).
Remaining titles will be available to purchase online the following day (April 21).
Collective Arts Brewing will host a non-alcoholic beverage pop-up at the event, providing zero-proof cocktails, sparkling waters, non-alcoholic beers and their newly launched Wide Eyed Energy drinks.
Lucky customers will also be able to win two tickets to Born & Raised Festival 2024, as well as merch, concert tickets and more.
