Superstar producer Diplo has material with Skrillex and Arcade Fire in the works, not to mention busy schedules with his bands Jack Ü and Major Lazer. All that clearly isn't stopping him from working on music of his own, since he has just rolled out a new track.
"Be Right There" is a team-up with Vancouver producer Sleepy Tom, and it puts tuneful vocal hooks (sampled from Jade's early '90s single "Don't Walk Away") within a classic EDM arrangement of adrenaline-raising build-ups and thumping beats. It's not too aggressively twerk-y, but it will definitely get the job done in terms of sparking dance parties. It premiered on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show and can be heard below.
Additionally, Diplo just posted the video for his Liz-aided electro banger "Set Me Free," which has a particularly freaky drop. That video had already circulated earlier this summer, but now it can be seen in full quality. Check it out below.
