Dirty Bird

Seeks

Dirty Bird are one of those Toronto bands that seem to have existed forever yet rarely seem to play out. However, judging by this album, they should change that. From the beginning of opener "Won’t Back Down” you’re hit with their old school Dayglo Abortions/BFGs/’80s Canadian hardcore sound and in true DB fashion, it doesn’t let up. This record is able to stand with their classic LPs. In fact, it seems Uncle Anus’s vocals have gotten better with age, and while the rhyming schemes may not be the most sophisticated, he still sings with enough piss and sneer to prove that Dirty Bird don’t give a shit what you think.
