Once known primarily as Steve "The Hair" Harrington from Stranger Things, Joe Keery has made a big splash with his music project Djo — so much so that the Beaches performed a cover of his viral hit "End of Beginning." Now, Keery has reacted to the Beaches' version of his tune.

"To see that was really kinda cool and a crazy experience," he told Australia's Triple J radio station. "I've never met them, but they did such a cool cover, and to hear someone else's interpretation of a song that I wrote was a really unique experience and something I'll always remember."

Keery said this for his appearance on the show Like a Version — the same show that the Beaches covered "End of Beginning" for.

Continuing the circle of appreciation, the Beaches shared the clip of Keery on TikTok and wrote, "Thank u for the kind words @Djo and for making such a fun song to cover."

Djo sadly didn't return the favour, and instead covered HAIM's "Gasoline." Watch him talk about both HAIM and the Beaches below. Can we hear Djo's version of "Blame Brett" next?
