Mykki Blanco and the rest of the Dogfood Music Group have teamed-up to tease their forthcoming C-ORE compilation with a freaky, sound-and-vision-distorted short film. Full of snippets from the upcoming collection, you can catch the rampage online now.
A press release explains that the nearly 11-minute movie, which was directed by Jude MC, stars the Dogfood crew getting wild as they track down a "wanted techno-junkie in the middle of developing a new way for users to experience old earth." What this means is that Blanco, Psychoegyptian, Yves Tumor and Violence break into a hacker's hotel room and drag him through the streets before wandering off into a field.
The handheld-style visuals are also accentuated with concert clips, and various sounds plucked from the C-ORE compilation. Some of these are tough-talking future rap tracks, and some land a little more chilled-out and spacious, but they all feature white noise-stricken production.
