Illinois' Douglass Kings have just released 3 Bucks, a punk-poppy five-song set that reflects just how much simple guitars and drums can do. "Pinky Ring" is a memorable number that sound similar to Denis Leary's early '90s hit "Asshole." Sometimes light and funny, other times thoughtful and heavy, Douglass Kings prove they don't need a full band to rock out.
