Grab some popcorn, as Drake's taken himself out of the 6 to star in a musical mini-blockbuster called Please Forgive Me. The rapper's short film is streaming now as an Apple Music exclusive.
The project was conceived by Drake and music video director Anthony Mandler, and shot down in Soweto, South Africa. The film was also scored by Noah "40" Shebib and includes pieces of VIEWS.
The film is said to mix together elements of Indecent Proposal and The Bourne Identity, with action-styled heists, deals gone wrong and more. Acting for the camera are Drake, Popcaan, Fanny Neguesha, Sonni Chidiebere and Kyla Reid.
You can see the trailer for Please Forgive Me below, while the extended music video is showing in full via Apple Music over here.
Drake had pulled a similarly cinematic move last year with Jungle, a short film that supported If You're Reading This It's Too Late. In 2013, he also went the action film route with his video for "Hold On We're Going Home."
