Drake Hails Taylor Swift, Disses Kanye West on 'Scary Hours 3'

"Taylor Swift the only n— that I ever rated / Only one could make me drop the album just a little later"

As promised, Drake has released Scary Hours 3 — although, unlike past Scary Hours releases, which were two- or three-song EPs, this one adds six songs to an expanded edition of his already-too-long album For All the Dogs. Notably, it includes a song in which Drizzy hails Taylor Swift while criticizing his on-off buddy Kanye West.

On "Red Button" — a song that, interestingly, features a production credit for Lil Yachty — Drake celebrates his chart success while acknowledging Swift's current dominance. He raps, "Taylor Swift the only n— that I ever rated / Only one could make me drop the album just a little later / Rest of y'all, I treat you like you never made it."

Fittingly, Drake and Swift will be battling it out on the charts this week, as 1989 (Taylor's Version) has been at No. 1 on the Billboard charts for the past two weeks. It remains to be seen whether For All the Dogs Scary Hours Edition is enough to unseat her.

Later in "Red Button," Drake lays into Ye, rapping, "Every time you need me for a boost, I never hesitated / Every time that Yeezy called a truce, he had my head inflated / Thinkin' we gon' finally peace it up and get to levitatin' / Realize that everything premeditated / Everyone was good with me, then everyone expression faded."

Ye and Drake feuded a few years ago, but made up and rekindled their friendship in 2021. Drake hasn't been associated with Ye since the latter's antisemitic rants in 2022.
